Cristina sought the "horse magic" in 2020 to help her come to terms with all that had unfolded the few years prior. As well as to find ways to thrive with the stresses of being a military spouse. In 2017, she lost her newborn son unexpectedly and tragically to birth trauma (HIE). In 2018, her second son, who has the most severe form of Spina Bifida, was born.
She started as a client at a therapeutic riding facility to seek all the benefits for herself. Her son also got started with equine assisted therapy for his own medical needs. She soon became a volunteer and found a passion. She shortly after started to pursue instructing.
She feels privileged to share the gifts she's learned from her personal healing journey, her experience as her son's greatest advocate and coach, and her expertise in fitness instruction and personal training.
She lives in Imperial Beach with her husband, three sons, and two dogs.
