Meet Bailey

Bailey Huff is a San Diego native, born and raised in Fallbrook, where her love for animals started early. As a kid, she spent countless hours volunteering at the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary — jumping at any chance to spend time with animals of all shapes and sizes. While Bailey may still be building her experience with horses, her passion for animals and her dedication to bringing joy and positivity to those around her run deep.

After high school, Bailey pursued a career in dentistry, earning her license as a Registered Dental Assistant and serving patients at a dental office in Escondido for over a decade. It was there that fate stepped in — she met Rachael, and the two quickly formed a friendship rooted in warmth, trust, and shared values. When Rachael left dentistry to launch Wylde Horses, Bailey knew in her heart she’d find her way there too, when the time was right.

That moment finally came when Bailey took a leap of faith and left the dental world behind to follow her true calling: serving families and the community through Wylde Horses. As our Volunteer Coordinator and Program Director, Bailey plays an essential role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for volunteers, families, and staff alike. Her infectious smile, can-do spirit, and heart for people make her a natural connector and motivator for our entire team.

Bailey’s story with Wylde Horses is a true full-circle moment — she and her husband, Hootie, even got married right here on the property and took their wedding photos in the barn! These days, you’ll often see Hootie pitching in too, making Wylde Horses feel like a second home for their family.

Whether she’s coordinating volunteers, supporting lessons, or lifting spirits with her positivity, Bailey brings warmth, laughter, and heart to everything she does.

We’re so lucky to have Bailey’s bright energy guiding our volunteers and programs forward every day!
