Holly began her journey with Wylde Horses as a volunteer and was quickly inspired by the transformative power of equine therapy. A lifelong animal lover, she brings over ten years of experience showing livestock through 4-H—including poultry, lambs, goats, pigs, and cattle—and proudly lives by the 4-H pledge:
“I pledge my Head to clearer thinking, my Heart to greater loyalty, my Hands to larger service, and my Health to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world.”
Beyond Wylde Horses, Holly volunteers as a raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. She has raised four puppies: one working guide, one currently in final testing, one she’s actively raising, and her first dog, Bassoon, who is now in the first phases of training to become a therapy dog with Holly as his handler.
Holly is grateful to be part of the Wylde Horses team and although she is still gaining experience with equine, she is passionate about sharing her love of animals and her expertise in animal husbandry with her students.
