Kathy Heinzel comes to Wylde Horses with over 35 years of horse experience in several disciplines: Hunter/Jumper, Equitation, 3 Day Eventing, Gymkhana, and Thoroughbred Race Horse training.
She had her own ranch in Winchester where she boarded, trained and coached several riders, some of who went on to be professional trainers, as well as bought and sold horses. Always wanting to help at-risk youth, she hosted a ranch day for homeless families’ children at her ranch and her passion for that work was ignited.
After raising her two children and becoming an empty nester, she sold her ranch. She recently moved to Fallbrook and found her love of therapeutic riding while volunteering at a local ranch.
She is beyond excited to be a part of the Wylde Horses team and looks forward to the future growth of the program.
