Morgan and her love for equine therapy began right at home, after an unfortunate ailment. Morgan's horses healed her through her recovery. By seeing firsthand how significant horses were for her healing she had a calling to do it for others. In high school she started volunteering at a therapeutic riding facility and fell in love with the progress and growth of students there.
After high school Morgan went straight to college and is now a recent psychology graduate from the University of California Santa Cruz. There, she studied and researched the endless possibilities of animal assisted therapy and multidirectional developmental psychology. She now emphasizes the importance of cultural and social justice adjacent with accessible therapy services for those in need.
She is honored to now be able to provide this service to others! She uses her knowledge of children's development and therapy modalities to help bring her students toward the emotional and cognitive progress they are striving for. She understands that progress is not linear, and that showing up is sometimes the only thing you can do that day. Morgan values the opportunity to help motivate, support, and advocate for her students through their challenges and successes without judgement. She is forever proud to be a part of the ever growing family of Wylde Horses Therapeutic Riding Facility.
